How an air-to-air heat pump works
The installation essentially consists of an outdoor unit (pump), a refrigerant circuit, a compressor and an indoor unit for distributing heat in a room. The pump uses calories from the outdoor air to transform the refrigerant into gas, with the help of the compressor. Sent to the indoor unit, the gas transforms back into fluid and releases its heat in the process. A reversible system allows the reverse operation in summer to cool your interior.
